. The 41st  Grassland Society of Southern Africa’s Annual Congress will be held at ATKV Klein Kariba, Bella Bella (Warmbaths), RSA. The main theme of the congress is “Range and Forage Science in a Developing Environment”. A  wide range of related issues will also be covered.

Several symposia and special sessions have been proposed, for which further details will be available at the end of January. These include Invasive Plant Management addressing both exotic and indigenous invasive species, their ecology and control together with SAWSS (South African Weed Science Society), SAEON (South African Environmental Observatory Network) Long Term Monitoring Programme, Emerging Ideas in Communal Rangeland Management and what have we learnt from Long Term Grazing Trials?
